I did not know Margarita personally but I had the pleasure of meeting her children when I worked in the Health Center at Roosevelt Magnet School. Mauricio Vega with his with his bright smile, beautiful Mariela Vega, and little Jessie my heart goes out to you and all of your family at this time. May memories of your mom and her love for you bring you comfort. My son Treyvon Wallace (Peoria High) and my daughter Brookelyn Wallace (Quest Charter) would like to send thier condolences to their fellow classmates. You will be in our prayers.

As a teacher to three of her children, I have known Margarita for several years. I always enjoyed our visits during parent-teacher conferences. She was a great mother, and she raised many wonderful children. It has been/is a blessing to have these fine children in my classroom and an even bigger blessing knowing their wonderful mother. You are all in my thoughts and prayers; please know that I am there for you in times of need.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Margie's family during their time of sorrow. She was a very passionate and great person. My face would light up when I saw she was my bus driver for my trip. We will miss seeing her.

My sincerest condolences to all of Margie's family. We were co-workers at PSD#150. I saw Margie right before Thanksgiving, she was driving the Sheridan bus and all I said was Hi girl, are you the Sterling bus? I will miss seeing her.
